I think its plain crappy to sell tickets to seats that weren't finished or approved.
If they wanted to break attendance records fine, let people in from the parking lot, don't let people travel umpteen miles to see their team and then let them down.

If it were me it would be a class action lawsuit and bury Jerry Jones. Sorry I'm a packer fan, America's real team.

I dont know all the details as to why there seats wernt avable and what not.
But what is to be gained by sueing??? They were offered there money back plus tickets next year or to a super bowl of their chooseing from what i heard. What more should be expected?? I mean really..Mistakes and accidents do happen the NFL steps up to the plate to make things right and they sue. The way this country is going with lawsuits i guess we need insurance to take a crap at home cause someone might sue because it wasnt a good crap!!!!!!!

Last I heard, the stadium put up extra seating to try and cram more people to break records. Half the seats weren't ready in time, the other half they ended up closing off because they were concerned about to much weight for the supports and vibrations from people jumping around and what not. Pretty much came back to they never should of added more to the stadium just for 1 game.

I think the point in a lawsuit is just to get a point across to the NFL. They had ample time to prepare for the game, and probably never should have added capacity just for either money or attendance records if they couldn't get everything set up properly.

A lady at my moms work had 4 tickets for her whole family, went down there, and were told they were sol and had no seats. They were given $10,000 cash ($7000 profit) and tickets to next years super bowl. I wouldn't be complaining.

They were offered 3x face value of the tickets ($2400) as part of the offering. Some people paid up to $10,000 per ticket + travel & expenses. Put yourself in their position.

Im sorry your not gonna tell me someone who paid 10k for a ticket was one of the seats they were "throwing" togather.

3x face value for the ticket they didnt get would more than cover travel and exspense. So again the nfl did the right thing as a bussiness and there sued for it.

I also heard about some of these added seats were blocking exits and creating a fire hazard so the fire marshall said no to some of the seats.

If i was in there position i woulda took the money and a future super bowl ticket in a heart beat.

I personally would not go to another super bowl. I went to see the packers play in the super bowl and win,my favorite team won. Now I don't have to worry about going because I don't want to go see to other teams play for the money I spent to see the packers win the super bowl.it was worth the money.

The NFL should have to cover all expenses incurred for the people...airfare, ticket, hotel, etc...to make it right.

They basically did. They were paid 3 times the face value of their ticket, and given tickets to next years super bowl. Lady at my moms work had $3XXX tickets for her family, they were given $10000 back along with tickets for next year.

I would like to know how exactly, do you know what each and every person payed for each ticket? I would also like to know how you know exactly what each and every person paid for their travel, and hotel arrangements? What they paid for their plane tickets? What they paid for fuel to get down there? What they paid in food costs? What was the exact value of each ticket, face value?

You have no possible way of determining these things, but yet you can tell everyone that "YOU KNOW" that 3X the face value will "more than cover" all of their related costs.

Why would you post something, when you are totally ignorant to what the actual facts are?? You are just typing out of your rear end trying to look cool, like you have all the answers.

BTW, dont get me wrong, I am not agreeing or disagreeing with any lawsuits. I am not a liberal, and I am not sue happy. I have never sued anyone, but I have been sued. So dont think I am defending lawsuits.

is 3x enough?

could be these fans were from Wisconnie. It might cover ticket price, room, travel and food but I'm sure it would fall far short of covering the bar bill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
