Suspecting a Major U.P. Conspiracy

As I sit here with my trailer hooked up to the vehicle. Sleds loaded and ready to head North at 4 AM to D's Base Camp with my 16 yo son to take him on his first real Boondocking trip, I am realizing that all these reports of mid winter conditions could be a big conspiracy. All the Cams and pictures are giving false feeds of these great winter conditions. As we head North tomorrow and arrive in Toivola there will probably be grass on the ground and birds chirping, blue skies....NOT!!!

Can't wait to get up and ride tomorrow thru Monday. I thought this to be the last trip, but at this rate maybe trip #6 will be in order for May.

I'm actually feeling a little guilty because I know the folks living it day in and day out are starting to get sick of snow and winter. But hey, if the snow is there I'm going to come enjoy it! It beats the heck out of the 4" of rain we've had down here in Southeast Wisconsin this week.

Well the trails were all flat as a ribbon last weekend but with no groomers running and all the new snow there might be 10 or 12 bumbs on the trails! ha ha!
Have fun and save some for me!
I have 2 more trips yet up there to ride at least!
just not this weekend!

Awesome share some pics when you can. I was out today and even though there were no groomers the trails were nice. Your from burlington? Sno cross star Ross Martin is from there and my good friend Mel.

So jealous I'm having withdrawls BIG time. Usually I treat my withdrawls by tearing my sled down but this year I figured I'd wait till fall to get my parts because I usually change my mind and tear it apart a 2nd time anyways LOL
