the amsoil is pinkish and the polaris oil is blueish, is there a problem with switching over to polaris oil with the change of colors? i don't need anybody commenting on switching over to Sea and Snow lol i have to prove to my dad that Sea and Snow works in my 500 first before he jumps on the $11 a gallon bandwagon.

Just run it down then use the Sea and Snow. Thats what I did in my 800 XP and no problems. I have my 2 gallons already to to go. The best thing is when people borrow oil from you and ask how much and you say $3. And the Amsoil is $12 a quart a the gas station.

We all know what oil costs by now. Just run oil down and then switch over. I have mixed them both with no issues. Indy, your 500 is not VES so what are you to prove to your dad?

idk just ask him, he didn't want to switch from arctic blue to sea and snow, i have 1 brand new gallon of arctic blue left for my 500, i have 1 brand new gallon of sea and snow for it, and i have 1 brand new gallon of sea and snow that's never been opened but it's pretty old (my uncle bought a house and i found some sea and snow in the garage that's never been opened)
