Talk about change in weather!

Drove from Munising to Sault Ste Marie and back yesterday for Thanksgiving. 60 degrees and sunny. I actually saw 3 motorcycles along the way. Short Sleeves, windows open.

Woke up this morning to 30 MPH winds and temps 30 degrees lower. Snow is blowing like mad. It is like waking up in a different location than you went to sleep. I hope this is the real change to winter and not just another teaser.

Think Snow!

Snocrazy, how come there isn't a good web cam in Munising?
I've been coming up there since 1982.
That one at the dealer never shows a true pic of the conditions.

Use to stay at Ricks Hillcrest and he would keep us infomed(before there were web cams).
But after his passing, we now stay at the Super 8

Snow depth tends to be less closer to the lake in the Munising area.
WhiteFawn has one which is 10 to 15 miles south of Munising. I think it is an accurate average for the area. Snow gauge is not up yet. George is slacking ;) You can see the propane tank in the background. That gives an idea for now.

I was considering one at my place south of the buckhorn but I live in a wind tunnel. I could show 10 foot drifts or move the camera 5 feet and show almost bare lawn. Useless if you are looking for an idea for the over all area.

I get frustrated with some of the cams. Pointing at snow banks on sides of driveways, drifts, etc. Its just not cool.

What ever happened to the guy that had those cabins down H-13.
Ever sell them or did he just close and leave them.
I know they were for sale but a steep price.

Assume you are referring to Kemosabe. He sold. New owners already went belly up. As far as I know the place is vacant owned by a bank.
