Targeting Oncoming Traffic

Just go faster.

When I lived in Great Britain there was a radio commercial about an old lady complaining about how fast people go now a days and the ad finished with a person saying, "this person does not have a license anymore because they were a hazard to the roadways....."
And that was in the late 80's.

Clearly just go as fast as you dare.

The best I have seen is the ride light amber or green I recall switch light on and keep hands on bars. It’s a nice feature if hung up on hand signals. If I was constantly leading large groups I would space out a few ambers with green at end. Just saying better than limited skill riders taking hands off bars.

Hand signals...if oncoming is using them, I'll use them if it is safe to do so. If they aren't using them, or are riding like douches, I won't use them. Also, forget the number of fingers thing. Just do the thumb pointing back behind you. Honestly, more and more I just like to keep both hands on the bars.

I like what my neighbor does with any big group behind him .....taped a cardboard sign to the windy saying XX amount a sleds following.
