Tax info on sleds

if you buy in another state and have proof that you paid tax, michigan now recognizes this and won't charge tax again. i used to live in indiana and had a cabin in eup. i bought sleds in indiana paid sales tax on difference from trade in to new then registered them in michigan. it use to be that michigan would tax you again but they changed that several years ago.

I was told that there are three states that do not give you trade-in credit,Michigan, Missouri, Alaska.
