Teenage Riding Gear/Fishing/Work

Looking for some suggestions on some bibs and coat for a rapidly growing kid. I really can't afford to buy three outfits, so I'm leaning to a carhartt style and waterproofing them.

Used snomo gear IMO. Lots of it to be had and replacing worn zippers and sewing up rips/tears is cheap.

ice armor is pretty tough and more water resistant and lightweight than carhart. cabelas have there own branded icefishing gear that is close to ice armor . prpb more flashy like a kid would like.

but yeah used ridding gear goes pretty cheep

Carhartt makes waterproof/breathable jackets and bibs, although they are un-insulated. I have a set, and they work great for an active/aggressive rider. Check out their "Shoreline" stuff. If it's cold, I just layer underneath.

While the kids were growing up we bought most of their stuff at Fleet Farm/Farm & Fleet. Right now it looks like Fleet Farm has boy's snow bibs on sale for $15.39.
But now for the grandkids, my wife has purchased every size & color Arctic Cat snow suit from Ebay. Most before they were even born.:D

Thanks! Saved a bunch-o-$$$. He got a very nice coat and nicer bibs than I wear.
...the AC logo is small enough that no one should notice or easily cover with a better looking patch.

I am a cat guy but that is still funny...... I hope it works well for your guy. I have never been cold with cat gear, but the water proofing/resistance is some times iffy.

My son's FXR bibs came with "leg extensions". they zip on the bottome of his bibs to add about 4" of length. So while I bought them a little big, I am hopeing to get 3 seasons out of them with the extensions.

What about the cheap stuff from dennis kirk?? I have no personal experience as I use tobe tech and arctic wear. However I know that it's fairly cheap and from what I hear runs a little big also.
