Have stayed at Ten Mile several times, and had lunch numerous times at Albany Lodge (does that count?) I prefer Ten Mile (the 5 cabins are 5 yrs old, and the 5 motel rooms are less than a year old), although it takes an extra 3 hours drive, it is closer to the Good Stuff, as the West side receives more snow, and is less tracked. Albany is Quite a bit lower in elevation compared to Ten Mile (over 1000 ft lower), and both are about the same distance to French Creek area, can't go wrong at either location.
Cuzz, Did we make it to French Creek when I was out there? You mention this place often and I suspect we never made it there??????? looks like 10 mile is on my to do list thanks to Revkev. No more Old Corral. The Hotel was great and the food was good there, but no more trailering up every morning and fighting for a parking space and unloading and all in reverse going back each evening. It just eats up to much time. I asked the Old Corral employees, "how did they ever side the building in such winds?" They said that was easy compared to the guys roofing the place! The desk girl said, the wind, never lets up! We had white caps in the Hot tub. lol.

Just about everyone says that I hit it perfect on that one. It is not ment as an insult, it is what it is. Togwotee range is dear to my heart. IP is also a favorite for ease of getting around and mix of it all. Cooke for extreme riding, (not for the meak or mild) looking forward to that with the new sled. But if not for the snowies I would not of met Doospunk or firecatguy early on last year. Where else can you watch fgsacts peg a tree full throttle going up hill and hit that Baby head on dead center??? So it cost him $12,000 for that memory, was it worth it, to see the friends, **** yes!!!!!! Felt real bad for Andy.
