In light of the current events it's nice to be able to come here for questions, answers, and everything else going on these days. I'm sure that JD.com will always be about snowmobiling and weather but also a source of everyday topics. You name it, we've probably covered it at some point in time. Thanks John for the opportunity to connect with others. Stay healthy and keep the family safe!

Hey John and Fellow JD Followers!

Just want to say, I've been visiting this site since the very beginning when John lived in Lake Linden and the Journals were all about the dogs and snow. :adoration:

John has had such a positive effect on my life and helped influence some of the bigger decisions I've made, including the purchase of my cabin between Grand Marais and Seney - Right in the Secondary SnowBelt (biggest snow totals east of the Keweenaw).

I know I"m more of a lurker here, but I also want to say it's always refreshing to hear from you all as you're the lifeblood of the JD Forums community, you make my life better just by the fact that I know there's snow geeks more obsessed than I am! :applouse::applouse:

John, your forecasts and contributions to this community are invaluable, we all count on you for the best Upper Midwest snow forecasts on earth!

Cheers Everyone! :pride:

John, I would also like to thank you for your site. The weather forecasts are what brought me here, then trail reports became a go to place every morning during riding season, then your journals. Personally I like to hear about the events that happen up in the woods and it's especially nice to read about how happy you are with your family. A nice detour from the chaotic world some of us live in. Something I wasn't expecting when I first visited your site was that I would meet people here. Riding buddies that have become friends and for that I'm thankful.

Looking forward to your 2020/2021 seasonal forecast! :encouragement:
