Been a member of this board for years but this might be my 1st ever post. Usually just read and look at the pictures. Anyway -

I was looking for a specific model of sidewinder and they happened to have one. Talked to Paul and he'd just taken a deposit on it but had a similar model available. Ended up doing a package deal on a pair of Yamaha's. Thought that they treated me well on the deal and knocked a fair amount off the asking price even knowing I was coming from central MN and they wouldn't be seeing me for parts, service, etc... unless we were back in the area. All in all it was a great experience. Paul was great to work with and Kip yelled hello as he ran by to tend to another customer. Two Thumbs UP from me.

They were there for a bud we rode with that had the Yami frozen relay too.
While it was not me that had a problem, they helped him same day so none of the group's ride was interrupted.

Yep I wish I was closer. Wife dumped her viper in the lake a couple weeks ago and I thought it was good after drying out and a few oil changes but now I'm chasing random electrical issues. I'd just drop it off and let them go over it if it wasn't a 6 hour trip up there.

Ouch!
I got stuck on the fringe of a lake last year but the motor/drive never went in, skis were under the ice though and it took time to get it out.

Take care, Bear

Ah **** I know towtruck. Usually don't respond to negativity. Just sucks you get a nice post from slimcake and others and someone has to be douche bag. I know we get a lot of positive posts on here and I'm sure some folks get sick of it. I don't ask anyone to do that, but damn it we work hard and those positive comments make it worth while. Thank you! Sorry I lost it!

Looking forward to trading sleds again with you this spring Kip!! That will be number 4 or is it 5 from you?? Always get a fair shake from you. I know what you are dealing with. Trust me. You and your crew went above and beyond once again for me. That means alot to most people!!

I have a theory, riders are not so much brand loyal as they are dealer loyal. The percentage of Yamaha's I see on the trail goes up dramatically as you get closer to Greenland. I've always have had good experiences at Kip's shop... no sled purchases but clothing, accessories, gas, rentals, parts etc. You get what you pay for: price, quality, service... pick two.

Don't worry about it Kip. You are Golden. See you in April to trade. From 600 miles away.

For what they charge for sleds, (NO deals) they should be in the upper 1% of service. Called them 10 times over 20 years, and never were they close on price.

well bud..hope u get the service u need for the money u saved..i dont even ask for a price..just whatever he sells it to me for..i know kip will price it so he makes a profit to stay in business..same with service..dont even ask a price..unless its to make a do or dont decision..tally me UP and i pay at the end of the season..like to see your DEALer do that..

oh and by the way..when i need something done..guess who gets it done immediately...try that at your place

Ditto! I needed to replace the rear wheel bearings in my Viking, so my buddy took the hubs down there, and they pressed out the old and pressed in the new lickity split! I haven't had any issues with 18 RMK 800, just over 1700 miles on it now, but I feel confident that if I did, they'd get it fixed and fixed quickly!

It's about time to Snowcheck an 850 my friend. That is a great way to show Kip your gratitude. He he he

I can mirror some of the previous comments. We came in a couple of weeks ago post closing for a rear axle wheel that came off. They stayed and brought it into the garage and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes. Would have ruined our trip. Thanks again!!!!!

what was the Seinfeld quote....serenity now, insanity later.
Sometimes it good to get it off your chest and stand up for what's right and what you & others believe in!

X2! Couldn't be said better! There is always 1!

Puzzling, I thought you always were in over your head? Thought I made a mistake years ago, turned out I was wrong, eh? Just funn'en ya!

Kip I've never bought a sled from you, but have always bought gas, and supplies when in the area. You are top shelf people, as are thee people you employ! I first met your parents, oh so many, many, years ago. Good family, good friends, and you run a dang good business! Keep doing what you are, the way you do it, and you won't go wrong!

Kip you had every right to blow up. After what you do for anybody!!!! That pulls into your place nobody has a right to criticize. Do I drive Yamaha no. Do I buy my sleds from you no. Did it matter to you guys on a Saturday afternoon when we pulled in with a problem. NO! You are a true service to all of snowmobiling and anybody that says otherwise has personal problems of their own. Have a great day!

Nothing but great experiences at your dealership from fixing a buddies sled to leaving parts outside after hours for us to pick up or just simply being open for us to fill up our tanks.

Kip,
Don just finished his XTX test ride back home and he's 10 yrs younger....!! (75) lol........ After our local shop had his Apex for over a month, they could not diagnose the TORS issue.....your team had him out and back on snow after a 30 min. repair.,,,, Thank you Jerry and the guys for your top notch express service......You deserve all the compliments that precede this message...... Hope to be riding up your way soon.....
Ken
