1st 2 pics are the new trailer we got. Paid $400, needed some things and spent about $50 more on guides, salt shield strengthener, painted axle, painted rims, sealed deck, and new wiring. so for $450 we got that 98 sledbed trailer 8.4x10 with a salt shield. the rest of the pics are my shed. i put in the guides. and the tailgate piece that said free on it, i put for more traction/water drain off for the suspension. this shed cost a total of $50 for all of the supplies. I am all finished

Great Job Indy!
You remind me of my brother and I when we were your age. We actualy started a sled repair shop and kept quite busy for a few years. Earned gas money to trick out our sleds and buy gas.

Job well done Indy! Another cheap add on to a trailer, use old hyfax as traction cleats.

I like poster idea for the sled shed that someone else posted. I would go with this one: (showing my age here LOL)

Thanks. I was hoping to do the same thing in a few years from now. My "Big" Idea is to Buy parts sleds. Then, buy sleds that need to be fixed, and fix them, then sell them. Not exactly take in peoples sleds to fix. I have no land to build this on right now though. On my property, the cable and gas lines run everywhere under my yard. that's we have a teeny garage. And, can't build a bigger one. So that's why i built my sled shed. My mom wanted some credit for this shed. she helped my paint it. On the first coat, she just painted the roof. I painted everything else. The second coat was done when i got home from school one day.

We were going to run xmas lights around it. I'll run an extra extension cord into my shed for a light and for a little heater for when i need to melt my suspension.

Scott, it looks great! Skylars poster is from when we were your age. (actually I was older). I would like to recommend a very nice school for guys like you. Michigan Tech. Lots of snow and a great place to develop your ideas.
