There's more posts on this damn bar than on the snow conditions. I hope they get their license soon so everyone can be happy but if one less sledder hits the trails without drinking we're all better off.

i really am amazed your from chicago..all u do is cry and whine

Yeah I see today that they ran out of food. We were there at about 4:30 oh well, we look forward to it being back up and running.

Thanks

Hello all, yes we ran out of food because we were so busy. The way the holidays fell we could not get another food order in until Tuesday morning. We are completely stocked on food again and we are serving all. We apologize for having to close early on New Year Eve, we would have loved to have been able to stay open. It was an unbelieveable first week. Thank you all for the support.

Glad to hear Don and Donna picking up the pieces and saving the place. Give them sometime to get back to "normal" before the bitching starts. See you guys Wednesday.

Highlights another issue with government. Do you think Don and Donna are the only ones missing out on not having their liquor license? The morons issuing the license have missed out on thousands of dollars in tax revenue.
Oh well, I'll be back up in early Feb, maybe MI will get their act together and issue a license they already issued to an existing business with same owners from before that they had already issued a license to...........

Don't count on it. The (click →) Michigan Liquor Control Commission seems to be populated by a number of Prohibition era Neanderthals. They have a decades long track record for acting on Liquor license applications/renewals with mind-numbing glacial speed!

Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi could probably get a B-2 visitor visa from the US Department of State faster than it takes to get a liquor license/renewal in Michigan!:stupid:

Gonna have beer/cocktails for the NFL playoff games on January 6 and 7, 2018? Planning for where to go during the game.

Thank you, Bear

Sad to say people are skipping the Bug with no alcohol, personally the Parkview is nicer anyway. I had the chili and Philly and both were outstanding.
Shelli was working and quite pleasant.

I stopped and ate at the bug friday night, my fresh lake duperior trout was excellent. I ate at Omers sat night. I skipped the Parkview, because it was too busy, thats two weekends in a row now. Im looking forward to when the bug can serve beer and alcohol again, but im not going to quit eating there because i cant have a beer. Lol

the fact that someone doesn't serve alcohol not going to deter me or our group either and has always been a rule with us ever since we started riding, no drinking what so ever while we ride and have at it when we get back to cabin but if not ready when everyone else is the next morning....see ya. I understand this is what a lot of sledders do, some responsibly and some not, but a reason not to stop because they aren't pouring..... I don't think so.
