We stop at many places that don't have alcohol, such as Kip's. We enjoy the people. How ever, I could have a beer with Kip if the time was right!!!

Don't count on it. The (click →) Michigan Liquor Control Commission seems to be populated by a number of Prohibition era Neanderthals. They have a decades long track record for acting on Liquor license applications/renewals with mind-numbing glacial speed!

Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi could probably get a B-2 visitor visa from the US Department of State faster than it takes to get a liquor license/renewal in Michigan!:stupid:

Now right there,,,,,,,that’s funny stuff!

We rode just over 1300 miles last week covering all of the WUPMI,Northern WI,and the KEE. We stopped at the Bug bar for dinner Monday night and I had the best burger of the week !!The wife had the burrito and loved it. If you have plenty of TIME to kill stop at the Parkview....

I enjoy Mosquito and nothing bad to say. I decided to stop for my first time at Omars to get a beer and was very impressed. Food was very good, phone charger stations available, fireplace to warm/dry stuff off, boot dryer, clean, some couches to chill on and relax the back and overall nice employees. I will definitely be back at Omar's...and the Mosquito also.

What up Durphee,
Anyone got the "real" scoop on what happened at Omar's? I was there the other day an three guys with black eyes stated there was a sizeable fight there over some "in poor taste" commentary between folks.

I am sure it was isolated based on what I saw, the guys seemed like "protectors" keeping the law so to speak.

Saw a good one in a bar in western TX 2 cowboys going at big time rolled thru our table but I was able to grab the pitcher full of beer before they took the table and chairs out didn't spill a single drop....lol... A couple of welted faces when they were done but ended up slapping each other on the back at the bar. Seemed to be a woman involved so they say...lol
