Well ,just the other day close to the same location, the DNR rental, that also is posted no snowmobiles,Dave was going back to get in the groomer and a young guy was carving all over the yard, so Dave asks what's up??? A little attitude was given, but was short lived as Dave took out his camera and took a pic of his sled and registration numbers, a very different attitude accured after that!! So this is maybe what we need to do and instead of posting some of our favorite stucks, or places start posting morons pics and help identify those that are starting to really make a true impact on our sport!

great idea, most all of us have cameras in our phones, I can have a pic on facebook so like 29 seconds ago. Heck if we can find stuff lost on trails then posting pics of law breakers is a piece of cake. There are so many of them lately. But then again, arn't we innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

Re the Newbees. I've seen too many of these guys with attitude this year, throwing their beer cans all over the place. Their idea of off trail is someones yard or the signed "stay on trail" private property. Next year I hope they get their snow back 100 miles or so to the south, then these guys might disappear - until then the camera idea is fantastic. However, if that doesn't work the "necktie" and shovel ideas are real good options. I think in most years the long drives have kept most of them futher south - because these types usually only drive as far north as the case of beer holds out and that happens somewhere before they hit the UP.

I love that idea. After you post some idiots picture on here, forward it to a DNR email.

DNR in MI will definitely write tickets based on pictures, whether it's snowmobile, jetski or boat. I read their logs (posted online every two weeks) and it happens quite often when jetskiers do stupid things. Much better than a confrontation too.....

I am a trail rider only and it's aggravating to hear that trails may be taken away cause of these morons that can't obey signs....
I just don't get it, respect others property! Plain and simple (unless I am missing somethan here) I'd say take the pictures and post them!
