Well, I guess the real Jay Cutler showed up today, what a choker, NFC Championship game and this guy is sittin on the bench. Wish he would have stayed in cuz it would have been 21-0! Oh he might have been hurt, but Rodgers played half the game not even knowing where he was after that hit from Peppers! Go Pack!

Yup as far as im concernd the "knee" injury was nothin but a excuse to get him otta there so they at least had a chance to win.

Id rather be good than lucky cause eventually that luck will run out and leave you on the bench HAHA

Let me start out by saying, I have all the respect in the world for the bears defense. But I just can believe the bears, and their fans, think Jay Cutler is the answer for their never ending QB woes. Maybe the guy does have some talent, but he is either to stubborn, or to stupid to apply it the way he needs to. He will never be better the mediocre at best. They get a good QB and some halfway decent WRs and they could be very dangerous.

Don't know facts about Cutler's knee injury so nothing to say until known. Hanie did a good job & Bears found a good back up QB. Never exspected Bears to get this far & the TEAM played well. Go Pack in SB do the North pround!!

if the bears bring Cutler back again next year without Hanie getting an opportunity it would prove the bears are plain stupid.

Packers made Hanie look like a real QB. When he came in the packers D fell apart and rodgers looked like garbage.

yea right, hanie threw to many completions to blame the packs def. Off the cuff the new boy played on instinct, something cutler has none of

IF Cutler did have a knee injury or tweek, the last place you want to put him is back on THAT field. With the conditions they way they are, he drops back and tries plant his foot and bam. Season over for not only this year, but perhaps next as well considering a lot of knee injuries take 12 months to heal. Urlacher and Kreutz really stuck up for him in the post game press conf...must be something to it. I guess we will find out the severity of it in the coming days.

Going into the season, if you told me we would go to the NFC Champ game and have a chance to tie or take the lead with 2 mins to go...I would take it everytime.

It's not that uncommon for a backup QB to enter a game and light up the opposing defense. Teams watch film and focus on starting QBs all week and don't know all the backup's tendencies, moves, and reactions as well. If this were regular season and Hanie had to play next week you can bet the next defense would be ready for him.

Thought is was odd that Cutler stood on the sidelines all fourth quarter. For a championship game ending knee injury it didn't seem to bother him standing on it.

Yeah, I agree. If it really is an injury don't just stand there looking like a doofus. Get a clipboard, rally the team, help the new QB, scream and holler, help the waterboy, whatever....

Yeah I thought that was odd too.

With a game ending knee injury you would think he'd at least be helped off the field, and sitting down on the bench getting worked on by the docs.

Even if he rolled his ankle I wouldn't feel bad for the guy. He's got a terrible attitude and has the reputation for it. After his MRI today he could have torn ligaments in his knee and it won't change my opinion on him. Collins needs to get dumped, he's useless. Hanie did a pretty good job but can somebody tell me why Lovie decided to interrupt their momentum and blow that 3rd down!? Why the Bears couldn't put up 3 points in the first half is beyond me....

I love all of the doctors here who think they could play competitive Pro football with a torn MCL. Oh, wait, he really was faking it. I guess the MRI machine was wrong and all of you are right. Odds are 99.99999% of you would have been crying standing there, much less ready to take more snaps.
