I was just watching TWC seeing whats up with the hurricane and they had a "weatherman" reporting from Corpus Christi TX about how strong the strong is currently.
The reporter could hardly stand straight, getting blown around from the wind. All decked out in fancy rain gear.

Then I noticed a pickup stop in the background and 2 guys get out. Walk around to the far side of the truck to take pics with their cell phones of the ocean. No rain gear, walking casually and easily, not getting all blown around. Easily standing upright.

Those 2 guys must have been super human......LMAO

Already this morning the propaganda machine was previewing their program about Trumps failed response to Hurricane Harvey.....


it reminded me of your typical Bears fans view of Packers dominance and decades of success......."well they should have done better".....BAWAHAHAHAHA.....losers say what?

I'm just waiting for the day when one of these clowns is broadcasting in the middle of a cat 4 hurricane and a stop sign lops his head off on live TV.

Hopefully it will be that gaggy Jim Cantore. They went out this morning and jacked up gas prices here. That is interesting as all of the gas we use here comes from Canada.

Yep in the background people out for their AM jog and cars and trucks on the roads. If they get 2+ feet of rain there will be problems just have to see how this plays out by Monday & if the storm rebuilds out over the Gulf or if continues west and north it will weaken quickly. So far super hyped but does not seem that bad.

grub it doesn't matter where your gas comes from. One of my fuel suppliers warned me this would happen a month ago as the hurricane season was starting to ripen. This is how the game is played. Yes some of the gulf rigs are down now, and the refineries on the Texas/Louisiana coast also. But refined products, gas and diesel are still at very high storage levels. So is unrefined crude oil. It is just the way its done, because they can. The price of crude in relation to the price of retail gas or diesel has been exaggerated, and out of wack for quite some time now. Retail prices have been higher than they should have been far too long. Oh well. Horse hockey???????????

They're using a long standing and very elaborate "scientific method"; it's called "opportunistic pricing"! :indecisiveness:

not exactly...go here...to REPLESION and SUSPENSION...like 2009 sentence....each president that drains it (we all have good gas prices) by law the next pres has to fill it....we all get hosed....Clinton drained...bushed filled...Clinton drained...other bush filled...Obama drained...trump has to fill....also go to PETROLEUM SALES....see December 2016....its got to be refilled from this too....so that surplus is actually going into this and they not telling you so you don't get mad....people just think its statis quo of gas prices going up and down...and there is a related reserve also that does double this.....look wiki also for all the reserves...just an FYI so youse guys know just a inkling of the whole story instead of incorrect speculation....no digs to anyone...just facts

It is looking horrible in the wake of Harvey!!!! Say a prayer for those folks many lost everything in the floods. Gosh I feel bad for those poor people.

I work for a large insurance company. This is a horrible disaster. All of our conference calls about it are being called MEGA CAT.
Never heard them use the term MEGA before. Always has just been CAT (Catastrophe).

Those nursing home images are horrible.

Sadder yet most of these place do not have flood insurance.

This REPLETION and SUSPENSION is really interesting, and something I didn't even think about, although I knew it was happening. What a freaking game these politicians play - all games.
The socialists sit there and crack down on the refiners and drillers with hyper-regulation, and then attempt to manipulate the prices after the inevitable rise, using the national reserves. (insert choice cuss word)
They really like to pull the wool over the eyes of the public, and we get fleeced at every turn.

this is the real reason trump unloosened some regulations and turned on the pipeline and other things...since he has to fill it....all presidents that fill it look bad in the eyes of the people because they are not aware of the shenanigans...so trump doesn't want that same bad rap the bushes got from it....so he upped production and brought new stuff online to off set the cost of this since people don't like him already....they would really moan then....I for one think he is doing fantastic and he has brought all the things none of us dared to question or be vocal about but needed talked about and fixed....there is more to the reserve too...there is a strategic war reserve and this petroleum reserve and a US country reserve and one other one too I think and I cannot remember name.....on top of some hidden ones too I would assume
