Things you would have done different when you bought your trailer

No. My dealer is delivering it to me at my house in Illinois. I will then drive it to it's permanent home in Northern Wisconsin.

I was told it should be ready the 2nd week in December. Dealer needs it a couple of days after he gets it to prep it (check over, wax and apply clear 3M on both sides of the nose above diamond plate).

I'm upgrading from an open 4 place triton trailer and am looking forward to not having to deal with covers or all of the brown road snirt that gets all over them.

Is the clear 3M application standard for the Legend or are they adding it on for you. I see the front of my trailer after one year has some knicks starting to show. Will only get worse as time goes on....

It's a product the dealer installs. It's not something Legend has as an option to my knowledge. A friend of mine has a Legend Deluxe and I noticed the stone chips accumulating on his, so I want to prevent that from the beginning with mine.

Thank you for the suggestions

Well, I finally have my new trailer. The final build is due to many of the suggestions from everyone who replied. I'm very happy so far with the end result and wanted to post some pictures for everyone who's interested. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Dang that thing is sweet! How did the 3M application go? I called the local Legend dealer and they hadn't heard of this process. However, the salesmen sure acted interested and was going to look into it. I just got back from the UP and now have MAJOR nicks in the front of the trailer from what I would say is the sand/rock mix up there. I'm looking into a splash stop product to permanently take care of this. Kind of a bummer but I guess you live and learn.

Good luck with the new unit. Very nice!

Thank you.

My dealer offered the 3M app. He installs it himself. It looks good. You see a seam since the film isn't wide enough to to one piece it across the v-nose. I'm happy I did it. Pulled it up to it's new home last Monday from the SW suburbs of Chicago and it looks perfect. The product my dealer used looks a little heavier than what I've seen on car hoods. There is no way a rock or stone will make a dent.

Very nice looking trailer.
I'm curious if the film will keep the slush from sticking?
We really get a lot on the front and behind the wheels.

Thanks.

It hasn't so far. I don't get the buildup at the back. Only the front. I haven't used it that much yet either. Just had the floor done and I was supposed to keep the machines off of it for a couple of days. So we'll see.
