I had one of those!

Great sled! Just make sure you upgrade the track.

IMO - You should be looking at a Switchback.

Yup 600 carb. I Plan on extending it to 136x1.5. I do have 2 ripsaw tracks I can throw on it if I want to. 144 seems a bit long and I wouldn't buy anything but the carbed 600. I knew the guy who had it, hes a few years older than me and bought it brand new. I've been bugging him to sell it to me for awhile and he finally did.

Either this weekend or next. Dad's trying to work his magic at work right now. He's on 3rd shift this week and scheduled to work Saturday night also.

I figured that was your engine of choice. Mine really woke up with rejetting and the air horn kit. Did it all at once so I don't know what did what. Let me know if you end up dumping any of those tracks. I don't know about 136 vs 144, but tracksusa has those tipped up rails on the 144's.

Great looking sled...looks like different skis on it?

Very nice Indy! Hopefully we will get out next year at camp near Mass. Good luck with the new sled. It's always nice to know the previous owner.

I don't think both tracks will fit under there, I'd install just one

146 assault competition track .U can get them cheep the western guys cant use them but they work great for stump grinding in the north woods
136 1.5 is nothing but a compromise. worthless for both applications

Very Nice - really like the white skis. 600 Carb: More than enough power and should go forever.

But as far as the track, I agree with others here. Buck up little camper and go with a 144. You will soon fall victim to the call of the off-trail mermaids and Boondocking 101 says the 144 may be the best for the midwest. If your not quite sure of making the full leap, at least go 1.75 in either a 136 or a 144. Personally I'd vote for the 2x144. Of course, you can tell me what to do with my vote.

I think he rides around 3k/season and in all conditions. Better be careful with a 2"

I agree Hoosier, he rides way too much trail for a 2" and I think he tried a 2" this year and the farm fields in his area ate it up. Indy can confirm that, but unless he is totally changing his riding from trail to off, 2" is too much IMO.

You do need to tell me more about the off-trail mermaids.

3k a yr is a high school kid mi .
remember indy is 18 now so one can only assume
1 work full time to pay the bills
2 full time school and a part time job to pay the bills
neither of them work well for 3k a yr.
3 be the looser living in mom and dads basement till he is 30 and they finally change the locks. that life style will allow for 3k a yr. no dates but 3k a yr

4. Bust your arse for 4-5 yrs out of high school and get a good paying job at a snowmobiler friendly company and with lots of vacation. Don't have kids and either stay single or date/marry someone that understands that when there is snow, you will be gone. I will be between 2-3k depending how the next three wknds turn out.
