Getting very old …here it is Wednesday morning and almost forgot to log on. I’m busy this week and retired not sure how you working guys and gals find the time to post with all the Dee downtime?

I’m on another forum looks like a similar platform an have no “ad” issues whatsoever so I sure hope all these ads ot the bills

Regarding the outages -

I'm curious to know if the IT department or the powers that be are even aware of the issue?

Has anyone heard anything from IT at all?

I would think one of the members or guests on this site might be able to help or have an IT department that could lend a hand.

But does anyone in power know this is even happening?

As a moderator, zero contact since JD was around. Not sure how or who to contact. I understand the site may not be a priority anymore, but I hope it survives. Lots of good peeps and good content.

as someone mentioned im sure some peeps here could help or know some peeps who can.

I have sent 5 emails to jds email address as suggested by Gary. I've had no reply. I also sent an email to the site platform XenForo which I discovered at the bottom of the home page. We'll see if there is any response.

The last time Skylar sniffed the website was last November. Scotti posted something back in October. Otherwise, just us chickens in here.

Scottiking has some health issues, but him and Skylar do have contact with Nora. I believe they’ve taken her out to dinner a few times since John’s passing. I talk with Skylar almost on a daily basis.

Indy, I know of scottikings issues, thats why I said he has a plate full. Please help us do some digging. Noone wants to see this go away. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I did just send Skylar a message but he said he wouldn’t have the first clue what to do.

I’m not sure where Nora stands on the website, I’m not trying to judge, maybe she’s not interested in keeping the site going for personal reasons?

Did not realize we were this far up the creek. Maybe someone in IT or that already has an IT department on staff could possibly help. Guess see what Indy finds.

Pretty sure the IT for this site is farmed out, contracted, and they don't really give a crap on it's issues otherwise it would have been fixed. However, it is John's Legacy, hope it doesn't go away, I've really enjoyed it over the years.

It might be a good idea for those that want to stay in contact with people here, use the Private Messaging feature to ask for their email addresses or phone numbers. Hard to say what becomes of our space here, but worst case scenario, you won't lose your acquaintences.
Something to consider.🤔​

Good suggestion, but, not the same as the site itself. I certainly hope that this doesn't fade away, I've been coming here for 26 years regularly. This is a one of a kind site with a lot of good respectable people created by a respectable man & despite his untimely passing, this site deserves its place here & is well supported by all who visit it, members & guests alike.
