One more benefit of insurance with USAA -- you can put any vehicle (including snowmobiles) in "storage" in the off season and only pay a minimal premium during that time. USAA offers this benefit because military members being deployed can save $ on vehicles that aren't being driven.

Geico does this too...saves like 70% off the premium...kind of a neat option for toys that dont get used year around

I never understood why folks look for the cheapest rates, and segregate their policies across more than one provider. For me, it's about someone I trust to look out for my best interest in the event something happens. I pay $184permonth (less my house) for my 2010 F150, 2012 Fusion, 2004 Renegade, 2009 Summit, and 2003 Loadmaster enclosed 20 foot trailer. It's full coverage for all. Just my opinion, but I'd rather pay a bit more to have a personal agents work, home and cell # vs having to call into a call center and deal with someone I don't know when needed. (This same agent also has my home policy.) I'm with Am Fam. Just my .02 cents!
