time to get to work

My wife drives a 2005 Town&Country. 3.8 with 188,000 and no ticking. Only thing done to it was regular oil changes and 1 set of brake pads since new. Only bad thing is getting alot of rust now. Some spots rusted through.

What about a fuel pressure regulator thats what it kind of sounds like to me. I am no mechanic but I think the pressure test would let you know

just got it back from pats and we had 68 psi for fuel pressure, Mass air flow sensor was filthy so they cleaned it up and now she has all the power back and does not fall off when I hammer it. As far as cold starting, mechanic seems to think it was flooding itself as I would have to gas it to start allowing air to clean it out,, so we think. Tomorrow morning on a cold start will determine if that is fixed.

Cannot say enough good about Pat's auto and Yamaha, they are incredible and the best out there. For what it's worth, I highly recommend them!
