Just curious, I've got a 6.5 ft bed on my truck with one of those roll up toneau covers. I've got my sled deck/ramp in the box right now and I have to leave the gate down for it to fit (8 Ft ramp). Do you think it would damage the toneau cover to have it closed with the gate open at highway speeds? I accidently forgot to close the gate the other week and went about 20 miles with the gate down and toneau shut and didn't seem to hurt it any. I would think that with the gate down it would act as a vacuum and put a lot of pressure on the bottom structure of the cover. What are your thoughts?
