The same reason when we fish from shore we throw out as far as possible but when we fish from a boat, we throw towards shore.

Or, diesel engine vs. gas. I want a diesel, but all I am gonna use my truck for is to drive around town looking cool and never go off roading, and occasionally tow a jet ski cuz it doesnt fit in the box cuz I bought a short box, which makes my truck virtually unusable.

I can remember a phone call that I took as a Service manager. The customer was very upset and wanted answers of why his snowmobile was making strange noises. After several minutes of getting "no where" with asking simple questions to try to help the guy out I finally told him "Well hold the sled up the phone so I can hear the sound!!!" Then---dial tone!!!! He showed up to the dealership with the sled on the trailer. Turned out that he burnt an hour glass shape in the belt with the parking brake. The first thing out of his mouth when we told him what he had done was "Well that is covered under warranty right" . You can't fix stupid!!!!
