Thank you very much! I'm getting excited to finally getting it fixed. I have a close friend who had is done on the 18th, he is struggling but he is very overweight and never exercises at all, I am hoping mine goes a lot better.

I will give updates next week!
Definitely don't shirk your therapy, it is the key to healing right. I was good with my left knee but slacked a little with the right and I can tell the difference.

One week yesterday and I am doing well! The surgery went very well and I was doing great until the pain blockers wore off New Years Eve, holy shit that was no joke lol! I have been doing the work for sure, therapist says I am doing great, had 103 degree bend at the knee one week in, he was very happy with that.

The thing I struggle with the most is that you make progress all day long, doing your exercises and then about 2:00am, after you wake up, you are back at zero and need to start all over again, sleeping has been horrible for me. I find that in the afternoon I need to put the earbuds in and meditate for a hour or so, I feel amazing after that. Not gonna lie, the Oxy has been nice to have but I know I need that to stop soon. I have managed the constipation well, there is a fine line between enough and too much laxative lol!

Glad to hear of your progress. 103, my wife made that once the other day, 2 months after her surgery! From my wife’s experience nighttime is the tougher time of day. She moves after a couple weeks to Tylenol & Gabapentin before bedtime. Then Tylenol prior to PT. Keep us posted!

How long was she on Oxy? I think that’s only for the first week, maybe second week. That’s according to the pharmacist. She said 3-6 days, I was like no way lol! I’m just about out, I’ll make it to Friday probably, then I’m supposed to take tramadol, which in the past did absolutely nothing for my pain management.

This last surgery I believe 2 weeks. However she was only using it before bedtime after the first week. The first replacement on this knee (3 yrs ago) she didn’t sleep for 5 weeks, lots of pain.

Cobalt ,thought I would check in to see how you are doing. Hope everything is going well for you! Take care
Thank you very much for checking in!

I was going to reply last night but I had PT this morning and wanted to see the results of a lot of hard work since last Wednesday. I kicked butt the last 5 days with daily workouts and gained 12 degrees since last week, he said that was huge. Not gonna lie, I am starting week 4 today and it still hurts, especially when I push my PT workouts. I was told today that I am definitely at a turning point, for the better, so I look forward to that!

Hope to be able to ride at the end of February or early March, nothing crazy, just get out a see how it goes. Worse case scenario, I sit in the cabin and chill while my buddies ride all day.

Hey, you get an "atta boy!" Keep up the good work and don't shirk the PT.

It makes the day go by and if I don't hit it hard, it seems like you have to start all over the next workout! I have an old friend, he told me he had his done 8 years ago and to this day, he does his assigned training every day, he's doing fantastic too!
