You already know what I think.... Bring it over, lets get it done! With your clutch work, you will be fine.

I'm with ezra...
I went from 121-136 last year with a 136x1.25. This year I am already doing it all over again with a 121-144 with a 144x16x2. If you are doing this for more off-trail aptitude...go bigger or you will be doing it again next year...like me! ;)

This will be used primarily for trail use, with some boondockin. probably never see more than 12-18" deep at the most. Besides, dont want to make all the rolled chaincase mods and all that. Just thought if the track needs to be replaced anyway, why not go longer. Right KP!

ok then do your 1 1/4 but dont do a rip saw they blow for any kind of off trail.and I dont think you have to do any driver chain case ect work on a rev to go Even 2in. for a happy med look in to 1.375 or 1.50 I use a 1 1/4rip saw around the house for running ditches lakes streets curbs corn fields but have a 2in for north and west

I wouldnt want you to hurt yourself. I'm already out, so it doesnt matter. I think we have an extra track off of the groomer! 2" steel cleats, 24" wide. You could ride off trail with that! (might take a little modification to the frame, and maybe nitrous to turn it), but you have a machine shop, lets try! Besides, it's not my sled.

Ripsaw is not a good lug pattern for boondockin. It is a great trail track...there are just better options for boondockin. I would go at least 1.375 even if you doo a lot of trail riding with the family. You could probably go 1.75 without having to worry about using scratchers for hyfax wear.

I extended my wife's 05 Rev to 136" last year, I went with a 1.5" lug track. We rode about 1000 trail miles last year in all snow conditions and we did not have one problem. I would go with a 1.5" or even a 1.75", you will be happier off trail. What year is your Rev? You may want a longer cooler if it is an 03.

it is an 04 rev.
I am thinking i will go with the 1 3/8 cobra 136 and try that. I may end up selling this sled in the next 2 years so trying not to put too much into it. i will buy a renagade next time for sure.
thanks

Putting on the 136" extension 04 rev 600

thanks all!! decided to go with the 1 1/4" Ice Ripper 136" extension. got the sled apart is there anything that i might want to know about this extension kit from tracks usa? or is it pretty easy to do?
thanks
keith
PS Ezra when I get the next sled it will have a bigger track then maybe you can show me how and where to ride the deep stuff up there!! ( I promise to keep quiet if you take me to some good spots! HAHA!)

Did mine last year 121 to 144.Used Track USA kit very easy install. The only thing I did,on the tunnel ext. I didn't use the rivits suppled in kit I got some longer and bigger rivits (bigger heads) to install tunnel ext. That's about it and where the the ext. bolt on to the rear skid I had it welded for extra strength.

Track Extension

I did the same thing to my 02 MXZ 600 shorty prior to last season. Extended it to 136" and put the Ice Ripper 1-1/4" lug track on it. Awesome track for the trails and decent for off trail, boondocking etc. I've had the sled in the Bighorn Mountains many times and really noticed much better off trail performace compared to the original track. Would more lug be even better for off trail, absolutely but for your type of riding mostly on the trail with only occassional off trail, I think you will be real happy with this upgrade.
