trail 15 open north of L'Anse?

is trail 15 north of L'anse to Chassell open? How about riding from Chassell to Houghton on the channel?

It is closed.

Riding the channel is highly not recommended on a good year, and this year is about the worst year for ice making to memory.

Hate to break it to you, but unless you’re heading east only, lanse is not a great place to base out of.

I figured the channel was not good this year. We rode along the edge a few years ago from Chassell, many tracks at the time and dropped off in Houghton, way before the lift bridge. Ride command also showed 15 was closed, I just didn't know how accurate that was. thanks.
