I have been preaching for years that in Wisconsin you can register your sled with the WDNR as a non-resident (online), this cost $30 dollars and is good for 2 years. They have a quick turn around on your paper work, you receive 2 tags (1 for each side), they send you a renewal notice in the next spring and they state that more money goes to the trails and the best part is no more searching for a trail pass vendor when you're unloading and trying to ride...

I thought in WI, you still had to buy a trail pass even if your registered there?
