Woo-Hoo-its August. Time to let you know the chosen time frame for our club's ANNUAL trail work session in case your interested in joining us and need to make plans for taking time off from work.
Mark your calendar for Fri & Sat--September 20th and 21st. Some of you might want to arrive Thursday night to start having your work/fun time on Fri morning while others may want to arrive on Fri or Fri nite to help us on Sat. only.
More info will follow around the middle of August but thought you might be interested in the advance notice of the dates.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions, now or later, don't hesitate to e-mail or call: 906-288-3404 or kruppsresort@alphacomm.net
We sincerely appreciate all help and look forward to this "get together" every fall.
By the way, we have already planned on doing the Heikkie Lunta Snow Dance toward the 4th week in November. Who knows with these crazies, this may become an annual event also. Hoping to have the same people (or more) & same clothes. We aren't sure what worked but some part of it did because 2 hrs. later it started snowing and snowed every day for twenty + days. We have TOO MUCH FUN

Hi everyone: Not sure where August went and already heading into the 2nd week of September. Trail Work for Superior Snowmobile Club is getting near September 20 and 21. Some have let us know they're coming for sure and we're questionable on others. So, please e-mail ASAP kruppsresort@alphacomm.net to let us know. Those making sandwiches for lunches are asking for some numbers. Saturday night will again be compliments of Krupp's Resort with food, bonfire, movies to wet your whistle and lots of stories.
If you are coming and have ATV, please bring. If no ATV we will have other jobs for you. Also, if you have-bring a chain saw and lopping shears (nippers).
If you haven't made reservations for Thurs/Fri/Sat. nights, please do so.
Again, please e-mail to let us know.

Thanks-another excuse to get together for a good time and get anxious for snowmobile season.
Sandy

Sounds like for the second year in a row hard hats will not be required, Ted will miss all the fun again and we will be safe. Or will another wild man with a chain saw appear?

Ted is quite upset that he has to miss again this year--however, maybe he'll be a little safer next year as he said he's been cutting down a lot of trees...Getting practice. Hmmmm I think everyone's getting anxious to have another good time-really is fun getting together.

hope everyone had a good time - the weather was likely very nice. I was in Minnesota for opening day hunting and also did a lot of snowmobile trail work there on our farm. So my chain saws were not idle. Missed the trail work in the UP though- that is always a lot of fun

this year the trail work was just Fri and Sat compared to previous years which included Thurs. We had less sign work and seems to me like more brushing, probably because of a wetter growing season. I worked Sat only and we did enjoy getting out on ATV's and working outside. It's never hard work but more so a good time hanging out with good people. Richard and Sandy put out a huge spread of food for all involved and a big thanks to them.
