Trailer cleaner

I have an older white fiberglass enclosed trailer. I stored it for the summer and just pulled it out this weekend and gave it a good cleaning. But there are still some light black streaks on the outside of the enclosure that I cannot get rid of. Any miracle cleaners out there that anyone has had good luck with?

This use to happen on my travel trailer, the cause for it was bleed off of the rubber membrane roof which I am sure is not the case for you. Nonetheless, you might want to try Soft Scrub, its a kitchen cleaner, liquid with a light abrasive in it. It worked on the grey streaks, just don't muscle it, it may take a few applications, then wax. Make sure your roof is clean, that is were it all begins.-Mezz

I had Watersmeet finest rust red staining my white trailer washed it 3 times on ladder to get roof & sides. Finally splashed mineral spirts on white aluminium to take the crap off & worked well then washed with car wash /wax mixture total PITA but white as baby's butt now. If someone has the magic wash I would like to hear it too!

Rubbing compound and elbow grease. Not the easiest answer but usually cleans up painted and gelcoat surfaces pretty well. If you have access to a polishing wheel it can speed it up but try it by hand first.

Maybe Polishing compound, I think the Rubbing compound would be too abrasive. I have not tried what whitedust suggested, but, if it works what the heck. Then again, I like ezra's method even better, sweatshop labor.-Mezz
