Trailer question?

I have always had a tilt bed trailer…. but recently bought a newer drive/drive off trailer. With that being said, it leads me to my question… Would you advise putting a padlock on the ramp? Don't know if people have had trouble with those getting stolen when they go up north.

Might be a good habit many don't secure & lose ramps or just plain leave them behind & somewhere down the road take a look & "Oh crap"!!

Aeh, why lock the trailer when they're into stealing the whole truck and trailer combo. . . (re)member??
I would lock it and then put a lock on the lock!!

If you have a spot for a lock, then I would lock it. You can't lock mine, so I have always tried to back up to something so they can't get it out.

I always lock mine, along with the hitch. Since I offload my sleds and take off riding immediately I'd recommend stashing a spare set somewhere safe. I've found my jacket pocket unzipped before with my keys still in it....

I always lock my ramp, lock my trailer coupler on the hitch ball, and lock my receiver pin. No way to steal anything except to take the truck and the trailer.

I lock mine and also have an extra bar lock thru the ramp under the trailer. If they get the lock off, ramp still will not slide out unless they crawl under trailer, pull pin and remove bar. Never had mine stolen but had a buddy lose two of his-----and they were locked!
