Trailer TYPE advice needed

Sold the 6X12 cargo hauler tonight, looking to get a new (used) trailer. Not looking for advice on "brand" but rather type (or style). Hoping for another covered, but the 8X12's are like gold. Coming to the realization that the only covered trailers in my range are tilt, so trying to pick my poison between COVERED tilt VS. OPEN drive on/ off (with front fold down ramps). I know the obvious answer, but the sleds have reverse, so backing off a tilt doesn't seem like much of a chore IMO. I wouldn't want to take anyone away from the all important 800 Poo debate, but if you have a moment, please advise on the major headaches of a tilt --- When it's -5, you've been out riding all day and just want to get loaded up and down the road. Thanks!

I know you sold a 12' and talked about 12' ones being like gold, but here is a 10' that meets all your needs and is a lot closer to you than most of the stuff I see.

Here's something that seems to fit everything you said you wanted. Maybe not the newest or first thing you might of thought of, and its a drive for you but its in your price range.

Tell you what, this one fits the bill about perfect. Don't think I'm ready to drive 12 hrs (round trip) for a trailer just yet, but give it a couple months and I'd be all over it. More than willing to drive a good distance if I have too, but I'll keep my eyes open for something a little closer for right now. 6-8 hrs seems do-able at this time (hoping to find something in the Minneapolis area). 10-12 will be within range if I don't find anything closer by September!!!

Last year on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend I drove 381 miles each way to buy the 12' Triton I just sold this year. Wait till everyone else wants the same thing you do and it will be gone before you can make the drive. If the one in Sheboygan is what you want I'd go now.

if u find one in west metro tc me or joe will go check it out 4 u.

That's cool, man. Thanks! Always sucks to drive 4+hrs just to come home empty handed due to a total POS. Why don't they just tell you up front and save everyone some time?!

Gonna be in the twin cities this coming weekend, nothing on craigslist to speak of. Send me a PM if you have an 2X enclosed trailer (drive on) you are wanting to sell. Thanks.

Ah, yes, should have been more specific --- $2000 - $2500 is my budget (i know, good luck). Pretty sure the Triton is outside my budget, but LMK if you want to give it away. LOL! Any decent trailers to be had at hay-days or same buyer be aware as sleds at that event?
