Trouble with part orders ( preseason )

Anyone having trouble getting their parts from BRP / AC ? I placed an order for some simple torsion springs and it has been 13 days ???? Allegedly they have been shipped but this won't fly when the snow is. Also heard AC has their head up their butt and not getting their parts out in a timely fashion either. This same crap happens every year.

Typically OEM need a min order before they place it. So if you are dealing with a smaller shop the only handles AC snowmobile, your parts may not have even been ordered yet.

When I worked at a shop special orders sometimes would not be ordered for weeks because someone wanted a $4 item and the company needed a $100 min order and the owner didn't eed any addtional items.

I have no problems with poo, i've already ordered 2 parts that the dealer didnt have in stock 2 seperate times, not a problem at all for me.

the smaller dealer buy my house has to wait for the minn order also but lucky for me a big dealer is less than 20 min away and they usual have what I need otherwise the sled junk yard is on the way home from waconia cat

I have had no real problem with ACAT parts, but with the economy many companies are leaning out their inventories on parts and the losers in the deal are the dealers and customers.
