PD I would still give ya a hand!

Abe visiting for a week or weekend is very different from living in big snow country. PD is getting a taste of getting up every morning and having to clear snow before you do anything else. It becomes quite the chore to move the daily fluff then you get multiple dumps and suddenly snow removal becomes the focus while the sled sits. Me and my buds had to deal with snow removal all week a real pita. One bud had to get a skid steer brought in. FINALLY tomorrow we ride.

Hey, we got a good old fashioned DITCH FILLER. Pounded powder for 3 days, and didnt even have ta go to da UP der ay. One bartender asked me if I fell off of my sled, was covered in it. We knew it was a GOOD one, when Wi. bars start closing because its snowing too hard. The seasons not over yet Pete, gonna try and get over your way soon.

Yeah, just working with PD! I know exactly what your talking about. We spent a lot of time in the Mass/TL areas, came close to buying a place there. Even down here, snow clearing takes precedence. Priorities! Several weeks back, we had several snows, with high winds, resulting in continuous snow removal if we were to get in or out. Plowing, and blowing. Emergencies are a concern living in the rural areas in the winter. Not good.

Its deep boys! Me and a buddy dropped into a ravine I've gone into 3 or 4 times in the past and was too deep to climb back out. We were stuck for over 2 hrs and were exhausted after shoveling a path out the top and still struggling to get out. Just when we thought we were out of options we got them both out luckily.

When you guys are up take a ride down the Pike Lake road. I have never seen snowbanks like that. It's like you're driving in a tunnel.

Houghton county has cut the banks back on M26 every weekend for 3 weekends so far. Insane!
