The drive up Thursday night sucked big time! Our normal 4-4.5 hour trip took 6 hours. It took us 15 minutes to get into the driveway at Krupp's due to the deep snow and drifting! Holy crap was that wind blowing. LOL. But, the good news, it dumped A LOT of snow from Thursday to Saturday. Saturday was by far the best powder day of the year for us. Snow over the hood, into the goggles all day long.•••• took us 6 hours to go from Krupp's to the Mosquito, back country. LOVED IT! Didn't see another sled track ANYWHERE! Perfect conditions.
Here are some pics from our 3 days of riding.
Drifts at Krupp's.
No Tracks anywhere
Agate beach, we then rode from here down to Misery Bay along the shoreline, awesome, simply awesome.
Umm, don't ask, yes, I was ejected, earned a score of 10 for my front flip dismount
My buddy Tom, hasn't ridden since 1999, after this little incident, he was able to find all the skills from 8 years ago.
I had to take a picture of these drifts before I shredded them! Had to wipe the drool off my face also! Joe, you know where this is! Yeehaw!

The RMK trying to reach the altitude it was designed for. Very easy to control this sled while in the air.
Fresh pow pow anyone?
Nope, didn't hit it, almost though. LOL.
Tom, snuggling in to hibernate.
Hey, looky there, no tracks again!
Love the fresh powder.
Hmmm, maybe I should rent out the RMK as a plow also?
Kim's tracks through the pines
It takes a lot of snow to make snow piles this high at Krupp's!
On Sunday we hooked up with Bryce (wingnut016) and his friends Taylor, Mark and Paul. What a great bunch of guys. There were just a wee bit hungover, oh to be that age again
, and even though my groups average age was 40, and their's was mid twentys, we all got along great. One of them bailed a little early, been there, done that, LOL, but considering they only had about 3 hours of sleep, I can't blame him. Listening to them talk about their nights adventures, sure made us laugh. Anyways, we found a lot fresh untracked stuff to play in, and it was a great time. Finding people who enjoy the kind of riding that my group enjoys, boondocking, hill climbing, bouncing off trees, etc, etc, was a bonus. I'll ride with those guys anytime! (I just won't try to keep up with the partying though. LOL) Here are some pics from Sunday. Oh yea, the snow was still deep, and the sun was out, perfect!
Bryce carving it up
My brother stuck down the hill, yep, he is standing behind his sled, did I mention it was deep?
Bryce and Taylor watching my brother get stuck.
Sundays gang taking a break, hmmmm, is someone trying to sleep down there on that Firecat?
Bryce carving a tight 360, riding it out Superman style.
More untracked powder
