Perhaps you can copy these offline, delete the spaces and insert the appropriate punctuation (colons, slashes and dot). Links: https colon slash slash tinyurl dot com slash 2zwu642z AND https colon slash slash tinyurl dot com slash 4amz827p

Ontonagon County does not have anything on line. Get your self a good old Plat Book from the County.
Some State or Federal land is on line. if anyone finds a good source, please post it MP's post is worthless
for Ontonagon County.

I have played with it on a buds phone and it is pretty nice I really should get it .

I have it on mine, and it gives who owns the property and where the lines are, accurate to within about 10 feet. It may be more accurate than that, I just use 10 for safety to stay off property that you don't have permission.

You can go to the gas station in mass city and they sell plat books like 25-30 dollars for the whole ontonagon cty

Ok that explains a lot. Thanks for all the info on this matter. Since I am out of state do you know if the gas station would ship a map out, or if the county court house would?

I do not know the answer to that, but Rockford Map Publishers will, or even better, you can download their "eBook" PDF version to your PC (or iPad, etc.) and use it immediately. Expensive, but worth it, the "eBook" has many handy, powerful features that you will not find in the book. Do a GOOGLE search for "Rockford Map Publishers" and go from there. Check out the sample eBook as well.

Yeah a bud has it and I have played with it around Cass county MN when we were out and about . Prob the best app I have seen for property ownership lines .
Do you have to buy state to state or dose it cover all states for your yearly fee?

I do the state by state. I have Wisconsin programmed in. I have a cabin off the grid in Northern Wi and cut some trails throughout the property. I wanted to make sure I stayed on my own land, and it worked perfect. In areas that have bad cell, you can down load that area when you do have good reception, and use to even with no cell then. I have not had to use it yet while riding, but I think it would be a great tool to have. For what Tuck is doing, I would get the plat book first, and if you find the right property, and cant figure out the lot lines, this app would be perfect for your needs.

It is fun to research a area and see who owns the property and where they are from, especially on the high dollar lake properties. Stumbled across a few people that own high dollar lake properties that act like they are poor, but I won't get into it

Yeah in northern wi they hide there names on the plot maps under Llc’s and stuff so no one finds out who really owns what. But seriously it is a good idea in some cases

Not that I am advocating - however--- many counties / states have online access to property tax records.
Often free access. With a bit of sleuthing, you can find the tax record and see who the owner is and often to whom the tax bill is sent.
Example for Cass County MN is: http://cassweb3.co.cass.mn.us/link/Reports/taxsearch/search.aspx

Just google/duckduckgo/safari/brave/etc. "property tax" for a given county/state to see if that is an option

Some people use this to see the property taxes of their neighbors to ensure a fair equalized tax bill... without having to go to the local Assessor's office in person.
Others use it to verify taxes on a "for sale" property on a real estate listing.

Property info is public to anyone who does their homework. Over the years I've had phone calls, letters and even recently had a guy 3 Sundays in a row knocking on my door. All wanting to know if I want to sell a property.

You are so correct! I have been through several Property Line, and Easement/ROW disputes. I thought the surveys I had done were somewhat expensive. Turns out it saved me much more than the legal fees, and court proceedings would have cost. Certified Legal surveys are well worth the costs. The surveys where the deciding factor in my favor in all cases!
