UTV's on snowmobile trails

With what limited snow we get anymore you would think they could leave the snowmobile trails to the snowmobiles. When it warms up, the ATV/UTV's destroy a trail in no time. And I thought Wis wanted to generate more revenue for the snowmobile trails??? They won't be selling permits/registrations this way. When we find an area allowing this, we just don't go there.
Not enough of them on the trails in Iron County to worry about at this time. And they are not allowed on all the trails. You have a much greater chance of not seeing any during and average weekend. I wouldn't avoid it if ATV traffic is what you are worried about.

Douglas County WI allows them. States right on trail map that the trails are "Winter Snowmobile/ATV Trail" There are a couple down by Gordon area that are snowmobile only. But, getting fewer and fewer each year.
