Everyone is always quick to rush to judgement and blame this all on Childress. Any professional organization, business or sports, would have done the same thing had one of their employees behaved in the same manner. What would you critics have said had this behavior (and there's more from what I've heard) come out later and Childress had done nothing about it? You'd be calling him the same names etc. The guy can't win. It took a lot of courage to make that move knowing how much you would be criticized. I support the decision 100%, just like I supported Thompson getting rid of Favre because I've never had a more fun season as a Viking fan than last year! You win some and you lose some, but I will always be a faithful Viking fan.

Go Vikes Go

As I see it, the issue was signing Moss in the first place. It's just another example of Childress and the Vikings desperate last grasp at saving them selves. Giving up a 3rd round draft choice for Moss and then letting him go after 4 games is just bad business.

"They don't know or care who I am", "avid fans", "tragic human condition", "capitalist elite",

Obviously, you have more severe problems than what the Vikings are doing with Randy Moss. WOW!

LMAO, I did go on a little rant, all I have to say is:

Ratios of CEO pay to average worker pay:

Japan 11 to 1
Germany 12 to 1
France 15 to 1
Canada 20 to 1
United States 475 to 1

Keep watching your football, you’ve got nothing else to think about, life is good.

nashville bound

Moss is now a Titan. Every other team in the NFL passed on him. Fantasy players might want to pick up Chris Johnson, should see more balls come his way.

Kind of makes me wonder...
who is the biggest bust for the queens.
Hershel Walker...1 good game (of course for queens fans) it was against the Pack, that was an excellent trade.
Jarred Allen ...1 1/2 good games(of course once again against it was against the Pack) otherwise he has been a total bust. Another good pick up
Randy Moss...2 1/2 good games in 12 yrs (again against the Pack) Excellent move to bring him back.

Stats talk...excuses... well we know

To say those guys have only had 1 to 2 1/2 good games shows how little Suzie knows about football. It's funny how their only good games were against the Pack. Did someone mention excuses?

But you didn't mention the biggest bust in NFL history. Let's see, he was a big offensive lineman that everyone knew was on roids. I just googled Green Bay Packer busts and here's what I found.

Ante Josip "Tony" Mandarich (born September 23, 1966 in Oakville, Ontario) is a former football offensive lineman of the NFL. He was the first round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 1989, second overall behind Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman, and ahead of the third selection, Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders, the fourth selection, Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas, and the fifth selection, perennial All-Pro eventual hall of famer cornerback Deion Sanders. His career led into what is considered by many to be one of the biggest busts in NFL history.

Imagine that, they picked him second overall and ahead of Barry Sanders!! And Derrick Thomas!! And Deion Sanders! Wow. Of course that doesn't compare to Jared Allen, who most teams would take in a second. I'm sure that's the only mistake the Packers have ever made though, right Suzie?

I am am fully aware of Packer busts, but this was a Viking thread...As far as knowing football, I've only coached HS for 6 yrs so I know I am not a all knowing god. **** I've even worked with the MN Vikings (as well as the other Pro teams in MN on a medical basis) Packers have had their share of bust besides "the incredible bulk" recently Harrell, also Terrell Buckly. But to Say Manderich is the biggest in history is reaching...Bosworth, Leinhert, Jamarcus Russell to name a few. I may not know everything but I do know football.
