Oh, we scored the points, but they just didn't put them on the board. Good game purple and gold, good game.

I gotta be honest, I wanted the Steelers to win but it's a bummer that the turn overs for TD's will go against Favre because he threw some great passes but man the Steelers hit hard! I hate the Vikings but it sure is fun watching Favre and Peterson. I wonder how #22 Gay is feeling today after getting LIT UP by the Peterson Express!?!

Did I mention the Packers won:)

Chad,

How could we not help but notice the Packers won, it was on three channels up here on Charter Cable (11, 24 & 306). You, me and 9 other guys could beat the Browns, what a lousy game to put on ahead of the Vikings & Pittsburg. I called and cancelled my subscription today what a bunch of idiots.

Not so fast Thunderstuck! There is a new sheriff in town. Cincinnati is in first I believe. My buddys who are pitt fans just laugh but they are a little worried I think

Does anyone know how many games you get with the NFL Sunday ticket? That might be the way to go Marty.

Marty I was not very impressed with Charters coverage in the Yoop, Definitly go with either Dish or Direct Tv...The NFL Sunday ticket is unbeatable on Direct TV. Dish is nice to if you dont want to spend the money on the "Sunday Ticket" from Direct Tv, as long as you have the NFL Network and NFL RedZone. Redzone is sweet it shows all the scoring plays from around the league as they are happening.

Pittsburgh is not an elite AFC team. The Vikes are not an elite NFC team. They were well matched in an entertaining game. Neither would stand a chance against the Saints or Indy. Not enough firepower to keep up.

A loss at this point in the season is probably the best thing to happen to the Vikes. Now they can refocus, beat up on the Pack, and go into the bye week 7-1, with a 2 game lead in the division. It will be a very memorable game, so Minnesotans, set your tivo or dvr, and Wisconsinites, fire up your beta recorders, and save it for posterity.

I wouldn't call the Saints an elite NFC team either. They barely beat a 2-4 team yesterday that was playing without their starting quarterback. The Vikes would be favored at home against the Saints and underdogs on the road.

You get all the games with DirectTV's Sunday Ticket. It aint cheap, I think $399 but they bill you over six months so it isn't bad. Well worth it to me as I have been able to watch at least one good game every week.

mspease, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the Saints. If they aren't one of the elite teams in the NFL right now then there arent any. They came back from being down big against a 2-4 team that is much better than there record shows. That's a tough division to be in. Saints are a powerhouse this year. As if there offense isn't high powered enough there defense is creating turnovers and returning them for TD's and they appear to a healthy team.
