You are correct sir. Founded in 1954, they turned out 300 New Polaris' by 1956. Some of those talking smack would say that Polaris still makes Farm Equipment.

A friend of mine has I believe the 50-year anniversary poster that shows the hay equipment piece, power washer and a year-by-year sled spread that I'm sure others have seen.
