You will from the east, but no marked trail from west. With that said you can all roads in Gogebic county except state and county highways. So the way the trail ran last year along the road you can still legally run. Wakefield board is the problem now for the most part.

You can run shoulders and right of way outside city and villages, BUT if it's in the city of Wakefield they can post it "no snowmobiles"

  • Snowmobiles may be operated on a highway in a county road system, which is not normally snowplowed for vehicular traffic; and on the right-of-way or shoulder when no right-of-way exists on a snowplowed highway in a county road system, outside the corporate limits of a city or village, which is designated and marked for snowmobile use by the county road commission having jurisdiction.

Nothing to see there, stay on trail 3 one way up one way down. Soon that may close as well the way things are going in Michigan.

Is no one in the community speaking up? Businesses will be impacted.
Between the issues this year, and the nonsense last year, they have. Unfortunately it sounds like the town board doesn’t want to hear it. 100% believe the owner of the ski resort has influenced the town board (with his deep deep pockets).
