This is the 3rd time this season that I've had to sit here and watch a nice snow covered ground turn into grass again. I just can't believe this winter so far! I'm so darn frustrated I just had to get it off my chest! Heading to the UP next Saturday, so hoping John's forecast holds true.

Next saturday you should be good. I feel sorry for the guys going up this weekend. This is actually a needed thaw in the UP to get a good base going.

53 degrees in Grand Rapids, MI. Depressing. I would get out my bike again and get my Poo leather on, but the roads are covered in salt. Tanning up nicely out here on the porch. :(

41 degrees here in Irontown! Still snow covered and should stay that way if it cools off later today like all the forecasts say its going to.
The only bright side might be that it will create a rock solid base to build upon.
Still very depressing!!

Man this is hard to take. I love sledding but really makes one think about throwing in the towel. I couldn't imagine if I would've had a new sled.

"a needed thaw to get a good base going". We've had 3 already, we don't need anymore stinkin thaw's. The base was good. Sorry, my sense of humor has about melted...:(-Mezz

Lost barely any thing here thaw wise yesterday. Actually I dont run picks and the paddle track really liked the compacted snow. Snowing all morning too! Make the best of what you have and try to be happy.
