Hey all, just thought I'd take a rare opportunity to brag a bit. Our son graduated in San Diego last Friday from basic training, Bravo Company Platoon 1029. Off to combat training next. The weather was awesome, 50's in the mornings and about 75* by afternoon every day. Never saw a cloud for 5 days. Now I'm ready for the snow! Here we are graduation day.

Siempre Fidelis!

Aluma - your family has entered a long tradition of military excellence. You have every right to be very proud.

My nephew a lance corporal, a veteran of the Iraq war and a seven month tour in Afghanistan, has been taken off the front line for a return home after completion of his tour. I and all his family are very thankful and proud for his service, as you will be too I'm sure.
