WET trails!!!

Early season riding. Lots of snow before the wet areas froze up. If people do not understand this, then they should not be riding yet. It is was it is.

if you do buy a viper there may be a good deal on a blue one coming soon. If I was you, I would look for a red one!

wonder how insurance covers swamp claims

3 sled group, me in the middle, late 90s somewhere mid WI trail ...lead sled started to break thru in swamp area, he wicked up. I wicked up, not much ice left for #3 sled felt bad for him sprayed him down with water but we all made it. lol ...On the way back we found a FR that by passed the swamp. Duhh should have taken FR to begin with but didn't know ....we laughed about that for years. In this pic looks like a near miss ,a shame for sure, but have to wonder more throttle 2 feet to the right & glide right thru. Tuff break in more ways than 1.:)

This picture is not on the trail per today's post from Bergland Bay Bar:

The pic I posted yesterday was on trail 8, about 4 miles west of Meriweather (over by the Hoop) and about 20 feet south of the trail. He was trying to avoid a big mud hole in the trail. Problem was it is also the drainage ditch along side the highway. Be careful if you are up here and sledding, we have a lot of wet areas. The grades right now are your best bet. From Bergland to Kenton and then down to Watersmeet I hear is a good ride. It is too early to be on the Lake, I know someone has to be first, but let someone else do it…….

The guy was avoiding a wet area on the trail. Got off the trail to avoid the wet area and ended up in a drainage ditch. Poor guy was trying to avoid a mud hole.

Man, I hope John is wrong with this warm up crap! It's time for cold and snow!

If you can get to the UP now, do so.

I'll probably be writing off winter until Jan 1st. Mega suckage.

Yes John what's the big idea? My mother used to say if you don't have anything nice say don't say anything at all. So the forecast should simply say "There will be no forecast for Dec12-16." LOL!
