What are you doing between Christmas and New Years?

Come snow or rain we are still heading up north. I have off, all my son talks about is going to Michigan house and snowmobiling. If we get dumped on things will be great, sledding, teach the little guy to ski, find a hill to go snow tubing... If it is warm and rainy bowling at Kontenka, lots of movies, big fires and maybe getting to clean the basement in the house up there.

Not going to let weather dictate family fun, we will be there and we will have fun! (and if mother nature decides to make up for lost time while we are there, all the better)

I go anyways, regardless of weather. I just like being in the northwoods during winter. Love being there if it snows, unfortunately, that hasn't been too often in the last five years. If no snow, I'll head out to eat a couple of times, take some deer scouting hikes, polish the tunnel on the Apex, and maybe think about studding the new Vector. (but doubt it on the studding)

I plan to be in the UP if snow conditions are 'good enough'. If they're not I'll be listing my sled for sale on various sites and looking for a nice ATV.

We decided to head up to Greenland for that timeframe. If there is snow, great. I told the kids that there was a possibility that we wouldn't be going anywhere, and they didn't like the idea. If there is no snow, we'll see what there is to do around the area. i'm up for ideas. we thought about hiking around the porkies, but i'm not so sure.

We went ahead and reserved anyways.

Sounds like that would be alot of fun. My kids would love the running around out in the woods.

We are heading up to our place in Eagle River on Tuesday morning. Hoping we wll get some sledding in. Sucks that New Years day is Sunday and I have to work on Monday. I always enjoy a New Year's day ride or hanging out at the local bar with some friends with not a care in the world.

Hoping the weather doesn't screw up the ice for ice fishing between Christmas and New Years.

Hanging with the family, some fire calls, couple parties, relax cause I won't be working for the whole week!
