What are you doing between Christmas and New Years?

RJB from over at bigsnowpage.com does give some optimism in his forecast for the Chrismas - New Years time period, but as usual its a long ways off so lots can change. Hopefully his forecast comes true and I will be spending alot of my time snowmobiling and grooming trails, otherwise there are lots (upwards of 10) high school basketball games I am interested in going to in the 3 weeks I am home. But regardless, most important is spending time with family, friends, my golden retriever Fielder, and relaxing!

working, but I am off next week. I planned on being in the Keweenaw for the week. Doesn't look like that will happen. :( Trailer is all loaded!

I'll be in the Yoop no matter what next next Wednesday night until New Years. Hope to heck something big happens snow wise and get to do some riding. Otherwise i'll work on some of the remodel projects, drink too much, going skiing with my kids, and check the weather forecast every 45 seconds to see if/when they predict snow!!!

We'll be heading up to our cabin on the north shore from 12/26-1/2. Hope to have snow but if we don't by then we'll probably head up to Lutsen for a day of skiing, do some hiking in the state parks. I remember two yrs ago we didn't get enough snow until Christmas eve, worked out perfectly.

We're heading to White Pine house...hoping for snow. Gotta head down to STL to see family right after Christmas...then northward bound! Kids don't have to be back in school until the 9th! So hopefully the snow will fly so we don't have to go bowling at Konteka EVERY darn day! Kids have play spots in the woods they like too...but snowmobiling is just a little bit better!? :) Maybe some skiing/snowboarding - me sitting by a fire taking the occasional picture - over at Brule or Blackjack.

PR1 - u tell that boss o yours to take a flying leap!? :D

He is tough, lol. I think the 700 is due for a chaincase oil change. 12 oz. of synthetic.

Gonna spend a couple of days at home whittling down the honey-do list so I can be off the hook in Jan-Feb when the snow flies. Then a couple of days at our cabin with the woodburner on full tilt and movies in the DVD player......
