First time since 2004 that I am not buying a new Ski-Doo and first time since 2011 that I am not snow-checking at least one new Ski-Doo.
Why? I got a new 17 XCR 600 with 2 year warranty for 8,636 all in out the door.
Hopefully, someone will give me 6,900 in March with 2,000 mules on it (it we have an ok winter).

Oh well, hope I like it; haven't ridden it yet but Polaris Dan swears but Polaris.
Maybe I will change my handle to Polaris Frank.

I'm sure 1fujifilm will give very good, and honest reports thru the next snow ridding season on his "new" ride. Congrats, and good luck!!!

Mark....Nice looking sled and always thought Poo does a good job with paint and graphics and that is worth a Spring purchase!:)

Thanks Pete! I know it's cliche', but it looks even better in person. Poo does offer lots of color options, but so many they can't have them all at the show. I would have liked to see the Titanium tunnel before I ordered it, but I like that color on the hood. I like the spring buy due to the color choices, but also the warranty and this year a free IDD gauge.

That is shocking Frank! But that is one heck of a deal, that's for sure. What track length do you normally ride? Can't wait to see what you think of it. They are very sharp looking in that red.

I hope I like it too, usually ride 137's and hope I don't regret it too much. It has the 1.35 15x121 Cobra track so that will be interesting.
I have to say the nostalgia hit me with the XCR name as I was a Polaris guy from 1997 until 2002.

Beautiful sled mspease, i hope you love it. No spring check for me but I am planning on making a big change, well for me at least. Going from my Cat F800 129 track, which i absolute love and has given me very little trouble in my 7500 miles, to a 2017 Polaris Assault 144 track. Im planning on keeping my Cat for a spare but decided to change my riding habits for next year. Im going to ride more unplowed logging and fire roads and do more off trail (not a lot but going to give it a try).

Very nice durphee!! Have you found one yet? Everything I've read about those is very positive. Should be good for both trail and off. Enjoy and provide a picture when you get it!

To bad the Assault lost out to a trail only Ski doo in the REAL WORLD SOTY contest...LOL...you should be alright though, ...sounds like your "real world" extends off the trail!

The 2017 Switchback Assault was an excellent on and off trail sled. Rode one for 3 weeks out west. Has been the best all around sled I have ridden in 30 years. I am not spring ordering after 17 years. Left overs are just too much of a bargain.
