I teach Environmental Biology at a community college, fell into the position right after graduate school, going on my 16 years. Absolutely love my job and it gives me time to sled in the winter and spend time at family cabin in Hayward in Summer. I thought I had a pension until I realized I live in Illinois. I also have a few rental houses.

I am a manufacturing engineer for an aerospace company that designs and manufactures fuel controls for jet engines. I also own some rental properties and am tossing around the idea of starting a machine shop. Great to see what everyone else does and see a lot of new names posting as well.

Research & Development chemist for a chemical company in Ann Arbor. Pretty new at it, but after 23 years of school I figured it was time to get a job!

Retired pastor, just not fully retired. I live in St Germain, WI and serve a small congregation in Ontonagon, MI two days a week. I'm also the Track Chaplain at the World Snowmobile Derby inEagle River. This was my 4th year.

Chemist at a pharmaceutical company. I can tell you why your meds cost so much, unfortunately my cut is a very very small % of what you are paying.

Lead a team that takes apart a nuclear reactor, refuels it and puts it back together. Little more complex then that but you get the picture

Must be at Fermi #2?

Way-way-back when I was a youngster, when one of my uncles was some kind of mogul at Detroit Edison, I got a 25¢ tour of Detroit Edison's first nuke plant (probably Fermi #1?) before it's first commercial operation in 1966. (It must have been either before I headed off to Mich Tech in 1958, or perhaps later, between MTU and 6th Army Headquarters in 1965?) — That was quite the experience for the time!

Ye dogs, I feel old! :grief:
