What goggles do you recommend with Klim F4

Well, I just picked up a Klim F4 anniversary helmet from the show. Question I have now, is what are the best goggles to go with this helmet? I want to best protection with no fogging. I am looking to get a set of clear and some with tinted/mirrored lenses. I appreciate any and all input, and I do apologize, I know this has been post before, but I can't find the post.

Thanks all

The best goggle on the market today is the 509, we can sell the Scott goggles but don't because the 509's work so much better. They fit the F4 good and well worth the money.

We do sell them so let me know if we can get you a set.

I have a klim f4 and the 509's didn't seal up at all. I even tried them with another helmet cause i wanted them to work but still no seal. The scott goggles have worked great for me.

I use the scott xi goggles as well. I am looking at getting a Klim F4 shortly. The first set of scott xi's I bot something happened and they lost there seal and they would fog up instantly all the time. I thought it might be a fluke so I bought another set and it was. they work perfectly and I love them.. Now I Just have to find a place to buy the F4. Keweenaw motorsports was taken over, and I've run up there twice to see if they still carry Klim but they have been closed both times.

I got the f4 at hay days. went out on the bike to do some wind testing the other night it is a loud helmet but should be nice when working out in the woods. I got a new set of Scott.I wanted some aviators but the demos at my buds shop did not make a skin free seal on the underside with my face anyways

Hey M8man,
Check out Perkinsville Powersports for all your Klim gear - they are the largest distributor of Klim Gear out there and believe it or not they are in Indiana (about 30 min. from my house). Ask for Julie she is an owner with her husband. They do all of the snow shows in including Haydays and were just at the Milwaukee Snow Show. They look like a Klim booth cause thats all they sell at the shows but they are full Powersports shop. They carry alot of non-currents and last year model clothes and helmets that will save you a ton of money for the same thing. If you went to any of the shows this year you probably saw there 50' Klim trailer towed with a sweet F-450. Hope this helps..
Also had a pair of 509 and the lens broke, a frigin' $40 polarized lens and mine also did not seal well. Stickin with my Scott's, actually just bought a 4th pair at the Snow Show cause you can't have enough goggle's out west sometimes.

I second this, I picked up a new F4 helmet from them on Saturday; Julie and her crew are super cool. My indiana buddies do a lot of business with them.

Ok, think im gonna go with the Scott goggles. Question for the guys that have worn them. They show the snow goggles coming with a rose lens, have any off you worn them with this lens? Is it good in the daytime and night? I wanted to get a set with clear lenses and a pair with a tinted lens for days use. CAn you change the lenses on the snow googles and if so, is it easy?

Thanks in advance for all the help

I use the rose colored lens both day and night, even though we tend to start early in the morning and are usually in before dark - especially out west. I do also have a pair though with the clear lens in them and always have with me but find I rarely have to use them. Yes the lenses are pretty easy to change out. I think you will like them.

I use Scott Xi with the light sensitive blue lens in my F4. The blue lens I thought worked better in flat light or no light as well as on the sunny days, better than the clear light sensitive lens. YOu will probably have to remove the lower nose protector if you are running the Klim breather deflector. On worm days I ditch the breath deflector and but on the guard. This helps keep your nose and cheeks from getting windburned, but allows you to stay cooler if you are working hard in the backcountry.

Spy and Oakley O frame both are around $50. The Oakley O frame does offer a wider field of view. I had zero luck with the 509's very cold and windy for me. also have a set of Scott's XI LS that I like alot.

I'll have to say that over the year I have tried my fair share of goggles out and for me the Scott 89xi no sweats work the best for me. The best is to take your helmet and try some out. My buddy who was an Oakley guy replaced his Arai a couple weeks back I gave him some of my old sets and he even tried out a couple new sets before he settled on Dragons. All depends on your melon and the helmet opening.
