Early news today says they figure it flew 7 and 1/2 hours. Is that enough to get to Trail 8?

Possible hijacking gone wrong or an attempt to hold the plane and 239 Hostages. 7 hours of flight would put them as far as the border of Kazahkstan & Turkmenistan, just sayin' that's a crazy part of the world right there. It's a large plane with a lot of mass and if they went down in the water it's only a matter of time before someone finds something floating.

My theories regarding Hijacking and Hostages... usually when that occurs the bad guys are making demands or threats within hours. Since we haven't heard anything they may have crashed it or simply run out of fuel.

Obama demanded they have health insurance so they crashed the plane in the ocean based on a vote of the passengers. But abc nbc and cbs will blame it on Bush.

I'd like to know why any of the tracking devices are under the control of a human and can be turned off. Seems rather stupid to me. Just saying.

They damn well better find it before its flown into a baseball stadium 2 months from now. I'll feel better once some debris is found.

But the real question is... Does anyone know if my Malaysia Airline sky miles have any cash value?

I read today that the pilot was described as "politically agitated" over some action by the Malaysian government, specifically on the day they took off and that my friend is a "smoking gun". IF he landed it he needs at least a mile of runway not to mention refueling, towing, etc. Kinda hard to keep activity like that a secret unless they're in Bin Laden's old neighborhood.

Even in a 777 you couldn't make it around that booty in 7 1/2 hours. Plus you would need a refueling stop.
