What happened to the used Sled market

1. Interest rates are at an all time low.
2. Social distancing and outdoor activities are at an all time high.

The used boat market here in MN was outrageous this past spring and summer. I was bidding on boats 20 minutes after listing, securing a deal over the phone only to have the boat sold out from under me while I was in transit.
I sold a 2012 Skidoo Renegade 600 with 4200 miles for $4800 in September. $300 more than I paid for it one year prior. The buyer contacted me in less than a day and paid asking price.... guess I left money on the table.

Yup, in Green Bay too.
Old boss finally wanted a boat this past summer after me trying to coax him for 10 years. He had 22k and he never bought one, all junk til you hit about 35k.

I was thinking of upgrading from my 09 Apex to a 2011 and up for power steering ,looked at a few sites but not much out there was even willing to jump ship to a 2019 900 Turbo but no luck there either What Gives.

Its still there, but like the auto market and limited supply prices are wacko.
Once production catches up, all the people that bought inflated cost of goods will be sitting in debt that they are upside down on..then another bankruptcy burst will occur again..how bad is the question.

Anyway, guy in Green Bay has a nice 2015 600 Etec short track with 5,000 miles for $7,500. I looked up my records and that sled could have been purchased new in 2016 as a new leftover for $7,200.
I guess it is a classic with a motor that may last another 1,000 miles.
